These days we often find it difficult to receive quality and friendly customer service. But your clinic always operated in a timely manner, and made us feel welcome. You were sensitive to our emotions and were willing to work with our crazy work schedules...Thank you for helping make us so happy. Without you, none of this would have been possible. We appreciate all your brain power!
On February 24th we welcomed our girl/boy twins Halle Jane Shuman Murrell and Rylan Patrick Shuman Murrell. They were born at exactly 37 weeks weighing 5.13 and 6.1 lbs. I had a very smooth pregnancy without any complications or bedrest. We feel very blessed to have had such wonderful care from our doctor at Oregon Reproductive Medicine and your staff there. Thank you so much.
We would like to take the opportunity to say, once again, thank you to everyone at Oregon Reproductive Medicine for helping us have our baby girl. Ava Renae was born on January 15, 2009, weighing 8 pounds, and 20 inches long. As you can imagine we were absolutely thrilled that we were able to achieve success on the very first try. We know that this was due to the quality care we received and the amazing staff you have there, especially our doctor. You are responsible for making our dreams of having a family come true, and we just want you to know how very special you are to us. We will never forget this amazing journey!!! Here are the pictures I promised to send you. She is one month old here.
It was so nice to see the ORM staff a couple of weeks ago when we brought our twins by the office. After spending so much time there with you all as we went through the IVF process, leaving to move on to my OB's office was a little bittersweet. I was thrilled to finally be pregnant, but I've missed seeing all the friendly faces there! I wish we had been able to see everyone when we stopped in, but we knew we were taking that chance when we just dropped by. Maybe we can try to come by again another time. The kiddos were born in September at just over 35 weeks gestation. We are so incredibly thrilled with our new additions and we can't thank you all enough for helping to bring them into our lives. I'm constantly reminded about how fortunate we are and I thank my OB every time I see her for referring us to Oregon Reproductive Medicine. Really, there are no words to express how grateful we are for everything you all have done for us. Thanks again for helping to bring these two beautiful little girls into our lives!
We wanted to send along some pictures and a huge thanks to you all for your collective efforts in giving us the greatest care, expertise, skill, technology and the gift of life...our son Connor Jack was born on August 20, 08 weighing in at 8.9 lbs and 23 inches at 39 weeks, 4 days. He's had no problems at all, has been given a high bill of health from the pediatrician and is a very happy and mellow baby. As you can see by the attached pictures, he is just perfect and we owe it all to you especially after being told by our previous doctors here in California that we had a less than 5 percent chance of getting pregnant with our own eggs. Thank God we decided to come to Oregon and see you... Thanks again and hope to see you all again in one and a half to 2 years for a sibling!!
I did 6 IUI cycles and in December 2007 our 6th try was successful. I became pregnant with triplets. While that may not be ORM's definition of a perfect success we were thrilled. We are so thankful for our handsome son and two beautiful daughters. So very much is owed to the wonderful doctors and staff at Oregon Reproductive Medicine. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
I will be forever grateful to Oregon Reproductive Medicine. I have a beautiful little girl and I have her because of the expertise and personal touch of our doctor. After multiple dreadful experiences at another clinics I came to ORM in hopes that you could help us conceive. I truly felt that our doctor was dedicated to our cause and worked with us throughout the ups and downs. The one-on-one attention given to each patient by the doctor and of course by the awesome, caring staff is the best. Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you!!
It wasn't only the doctors that made us feel at ease, but the entire staff. It is rare that you find a facility that you walk in to and after only a handful of visits and everyone from the receptionist to the embryologist knows your name. After many years, and many attempts, we welcomed our daughter Fiona Sophia into our family. We will take this journey again to add to our family and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else to seek the treatment.
I am looking up your address to send you a flyer and invitation to a benefit event that we are having as a way to thank the medical community (including our doctor at Oregon Reproductive Medicine) for the amazing support that we've received to have our precious family...Our sincere THANK YOU to our doctor and staff for supporting us during our journey to become a family. There is no greater gift!
Our story is not an unusual one, I suppose. We met when I was 37 and she was 33, and we married at 39 and 35. We tried to have a baby for years but without success, and then we made the decision to try Oregon Reproductive Medicine. We met with our doctor and he made us feel quite comfortable. His experience and his honesty about our odds of success and the challenges we would face allowed us to trust him ... with this biggest of decisions in our lives … On May 25, Marian Lixia turned this couple into a happy family. You have given us the greatest gift we'll ever receive: our beautiful daughter.
I can't imagine life without him nor what we ever did before him. So, this long-winded letter leads me to the following statement that I tell anyone and everyone who will listen: Regardless of the outcome, I would be singing Oregon Reproductive Medicine's praises, even had we not become pregnant. Though that was our hope and dream, it was the compassion, love and professionalism by all, that made us realize we were in the right place. And so, if it was meant for us to have a baby, then it was due to Oregon Reproductive Medicine. For me, little things like a smile, willingness to listen, kindness, and time with our doctor not rushed, are imperative qualities that I simply can't do without. The feeling of "home" I got from Oregon Reproductive Medicine is why I chose them over others … not enough words to show our true gratitude.
One never knows what obstacles life has in store. Like a lot of couples we lived day-by-day believing we would have it all. An education, travel, fulfilling careers and eventually, when we got around to it, a family. When "eventually" finally came around, we were hit with a dose of reality. Infertility turned out to be one of life's obstacles. The strength of Oregon Reproductive Medicine's team, from the doctors down to the support staff, was obvious after just one visit. Our doctor communicated clearly and was straight forward from the beginning. We were told honestly that there was a greater chance of failure than success. He gave us the information we needed to make the right decision for us. And once that decision was made, the entire ORM team was actively behind our efforts. There was never a silly question or unimportant phone call. Each of the ORM team members seemed to understand the assortment of emotions we were experiencing. Anxiousness... fear... emptiness... frustration... and an array of others. They went beyond treating our infertility — they treated us like family. And as the picture shows, they enable us to create a family of our own. Our sons are the most precious gift imaginable. We'll be forever grateful to the wonderful, caring treatment we received from the entire ORM team.
Maria Rose was born February 8, and weighed 6 lbs, 13 oz. She's just over 3 weeks old now, and well over 8 lbs. She's doing really well, and we just love her! Already we can see her little personality in her facial expressions and are looking forward to seeing her develop even further. I want you to know how successful our procedure (is that the right word?) was and how happy we are now that we have beautiful Maria in our lives... all thanks to the great team of people at ORM. Many thanks to you.
It happened to us with the birth of our son Nicholas in December of 2000. Because Oregon Reproductive Medicine took a chance on us, and partnered with us after 16 years of infertility, frustration, and heartache, we are living that dream we so desperately desired. Now we are simply "Mom and Dad." Congratulations ORM for giving 20 years of amazing care to thousands of grateful parents like us! — Marna
We are completely in love with our little babe. Suddenly tonight I got to thinking about ORM and got out of bed to send you this message. THANK YOU for doing what you do. I know there are rough days (we had a few), but the success we had feels like a miracle. It's really a matter of incredible competence on the part of the ORM crew. Please send our regards to the doctors and everyone else. Alex will be three months old on September 23. Growing like a weed--he's already 15 lbs! I guess you could say breast feeding is going well. ; ) Take care and best to you always! - Jeanne and Mark
