For approximately 10 percent of patients experiencing infertility there is no clear answer. This is referred to as unexplained infertility or undiagnosed infertility.
These patients are still have options – and much hope.
Utilizing Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) the patient’s fertility can be enhanced while possible, but unknown, factors can be bypassed.
Treatment for patients with unexplained infertility include:
* Intrauterine insemination (IUI) using an ovulation stimulator (E.g. clomiphene citrate)
* IUI with gonadotropins ( E.g. Gonal-F, Follistim,etc.)
* In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)
