Frequently Asked Questions About Sperm Donors

What is the relationship between Seattle Sperm Bank USA and ORM?
In a partnership, ORM has picked out 29 donors from Seattle Sperm Bank’s list of most popular 40. These donors have been screened and their sperm processed in accordance to FDA guidelines by the sperm bank. ORM is storing vials on-site from the 29 donors picked and is selling them directly to established patients.
Is anyone allowed to use this service?
This service is only for ORM’s established patients. You may purchase sperm directly from us after you have had your initial patient consultation with your physician at ORM.
How will buying donor sperm directly from ORM benefit me?
By purchasing donor sperm directly from ORM, you will be eliminating the shipping step. The sperm is already here, on site, and available to you right away without the usual $100 shipping fee. You will also have complimentary access to the Seattle Sperm Bank’s “All Access Pass”, which includes your donor’s audio interview, Keirsey test, and baby photos, usually available for a $50 fee.
Are both IUI and ICI-ready vials available?
Through ORM, you may only purchase IUI-ready vials. If you prefer to own ICI-ready vials, please contact the sperm bank directly. In that case, you will be purchasing from the sperm bank itself, and all the standard fees will apply. If you are unsure of the differences between IUI and ICI and would like more information, please click here. If you need additional information, please contact your physician.
Are the sperm donors available through ORM screened any differently than those available through the sperm bank directly?

No, all ORM in-house donor sperm comes directly from Seattle Sperm Bank and are screened and qualified by the sperm bank. If you would like more information on donor testing, please click here.
