One never knows what obstacles life has in store. Like a lot of couples we lived day-by-day believing we would have it all. An education, travel, fulfilling careers and eventually, when we got around to it, a family. When ‘eventually' finally came around, we were hit with a dose of reality. Infertility turned out to be one of life's obstacles.

The strength of Oregon Reproductive Medicine's team, from the doctors down to the support staff, was obvious after just one visit. Our doctor communicated clearly and was straight forward from the beginning. We were told honestly that there was a greater chance of failure then success. He gave us the information we needed to make the right decision for Us. And once that decision was made, the entire ORM team was actively behind our efforts. There was never a silly question or unimportant phone call. Each of the ORM team members seemed to understand the assortment of emotion we were experiencing. Anxiousness... fear... emptiness... frustration... and an array of others. They went beyond treating our infertility - they treated us like family. And as the picture shows, they enable us to create a family of our own. Our sons are the most precious gift imaginable. We'll be forever grateful to the wonderful, caring treatment we received from the entire ORM team.

I will be forever grateful to Oregon Reproductive Medicine. I have a beautiful little girl and I have her because of the expertise and personal touch of our doctor.  After multiple dreadful experiences at another clinics I came to ORM in hopes that you could help us conceive.  I truly felt that our doctor was dedicated to our cause and worked with us throughout the ups and downs. I did 6 IUI cycles and in December 2007 our 6th try was successful. I became pregnant with triplets.  While that may not be ORM's definition of a perfect success we were thrilled. We are so thankful for our handsome son and two beautiful daughters.  So very much is owed to the wonderful doctors and staff at Oregon Reproductive Medicine. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We wanted to send along some pictures and a huge thanks to you all for your collective efforts in giving us the greatest care, expertise, skill, technology and the gift of life...our son Connor Jack was born on August 20, 08 weighing in at 8.9 lbs and 23 inches at 39 weeks, 4 days.  He's had no problems at all, has been given a high bill of health from the pediatrician and is a very happy and mellow baby :-)  As you can see by the attached pictures, he is just perfect and we owe it all to you especially after being told by our previous doctors here in California that we had a less than 5 percent chance of getting pregnant with our own eggs--thank God we decided to come to Oregon and see you... Thanks again and hope to see you all again in one and a half to 2 years for a sibling!!

Maria Rose was born Feb 8th, and weighed 6 lbs, 13 oz.  She's just over 3 weeks old now, and well over 8 lbs.  She's doing really well, and we just love her!  Already we can see her little personality in her facial expressions and are looking forward to seeing her develop even further.  
 
I want you to know how successful our procedure (is that the right word?) was and how happy we are now that we have beautiful Maria in our lives....all thanks to the great team of people at ORM.

Ava Renae was born on January 15, 2009, weighing 8 pounds, and 20 inches long. As you can imagine we were absolutely thrilled that we were able to achieve success on the very first try. We know that this was due to the quality care we received and the amazing staff you have there, especially our doctor.

You are responsible for making our dreams of having a family come true, and we just want you to know how very special you are to us. We will never forget this amazing journey!!!

Sometimes someone comes along and shows you just how special life can be. It happened to us with the birth of our son Nicholas in December of 2000. 

Because Oregon Reproductive Medicine took a chance on us, and partnered with us after sixteen years of infertility, frustration, and heartache, we are living that dream we so desperately desired.

Now we are simply "Mom and Dad".

Congratulations ORM for giving twenty years of amazing care to thousands of grateful parents like us!

Following years of failed attempts for pregnancy (including medications, AI, and one IVF cycle at another clinic), my husband and I decided to try one more time to get pregnant.  After doing some research about ORM, I e-mailed the clinic to obtain more information.  I was happily surprised to receive a response back the very next day from you.  Following some correspondence, we scheduled an appointment.  We were extremely impressed with our doctor; so personable and knowledgeable.  He had obtained copies of my medical file from the other IVF clinic and my doctor, and had actually read my chart prior to our appointment.  He was completely prepared for our appointment.  He was open, honest, and provided us with a lot of information, statistics, and options relevant to our situation.  We left that meeting with hope (something we thought we had lost due to our previous failures).   Listening about ORM's philosophies, statistics, and protocols convinced us that ORM was the right clinic for us to try another cycle of IVF.  So, in March 2008, our journey began.

During the IVF cycle, the staff at ORM was always so courteous and professional.  Our coordinator was awesome.  Any time I contacted her, she was friendly, helpful, and organized.  Believe me, I pestered her quite a bit as I always had questions.  She never made me feel as if I was imposing on her time.  The clinic was so organized that it made the whole process trouble-free.  It all went so smoothly.   As anyone dealing with infertility knows, it can be an emotional roller coaster.  ORM never failed to make us feel comfortable.  The staff understood our apprehensions and concerns, and dealt with such in a professional and caring manner. 

We'll never forget this journey.  I'll always remember our experience (the day of transfer, waiting for the first pregnancy test results, the first ultrasound).  In fact, we now have two little souvenirs; our beautiful twin daughters who were born November 7, 2008.  We finally have the family we dreamed of for years.  ORM made our dream into a reality.  For that reason, we'll always be grateful.  Even if our cycle had not resulted in pregnancy, we would have stayed with ORM and tried again.  Their protocols are advanced and contribute to their success rates.  They understand the struggles of couples dealing with infertility and never make you feel like just another statistic.  We definitely sing the praises of ORM.  In fact, we have since referred other couples to ORM.  One of the couples we referred (and went through an IVF cycle) is expecting their first child in August.  ORM is where families are made.  We will always be grateful to the staff and physicians of ORM.  Thank you for making us a family.

On February 24th we welcomed our girl/boy twins Halle Jane Shuman Murrell and Rylan Patrick Shuman Murrell.  They were born at exactly 37 weeks weighing 5.13 and 6.1 lbs. I had a very smooth pregnancy without any complications or bedrest.  We feel very blessed to have had such wonderful care from our doctor at Oregon Reproductive Medicine and your staff there.  Thank you so much.

These days we often find it difficult to receive quality and friendly customer service. But your clinic always operated in a timely manner, and made us feel welcome. You were sensitive to our emotions and were willing to work with our crazy work schedules...Thank you for helping make us so happy. With you, none of this would have been possible. We appreciate all your brain power!

It is with great and humbled pleasure I write with thankful gratitude to the MD's and staff at Oregon Reproductive Medicine.  Without their compassion, guidance and expertise we would not have been blessed with our son Max!  As a same sex couple and both being in the medical field we were very picky when we chose a fertility clinic to work with.  From our initial meeting with our doctor we were comforted by his professionalism and honest approach as to how we should get started working on our family.  He provided us several options for donor sites, lawyers etc that are outside the realm of direct medical care.  The entire team turned out to have that same broad resource approach to our care during the time we spent working with ORM.  The front desk gals, billing dept, nurses and MA's are well educated in the specialty, the NP's are amazing and having a dedicated IVF teaching team who, in addition to the doctor, were responsive to emails and phone calls no matter how insane the question-made our time with all the ORM staff an amazing experience.  They all anticipated our needs personalizing our experience and even anticipating emotional and physical needs we didnt know we had.  I cannot stress enough how we now consider a few of the staff members we became particularly close to as part of our extended family.  We have recommended 2 other couples who are just as happy as we were.  We look forward to having our second child and just as wonderful an experience using ORM as our provider!  Max is 5 weeks old and a very healthy happy little guy....I guess the good vibes and love ORM provided him from even the embryonic stage carried through in his personality now.  He is amazing and the ORM team is amazing.
